My Story

I'm a composer currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. My sound covers a range of genres that center around emotional electronic music with classical sensibilities. My greatest musical influences are B.T., Chopin, Bjork, M.I.A., Simon & Garfunkel, and Nobuo Uematsu.

After completing my AA in classical guitar at Macon State, I enrolled at FullSail and in my second month won 1st place in a theme song writing competition for the indie movie, Flying Tiger. During this time I also made my introduction into the world of electronic music by writing and singing vocals for the progressive trance hit, "400 Years Till Dawn". After graduating, I continued to broaden the scope of my work by accepting the role of film composer, scoring the indie mockumentary, Stagbunny. During this same time I landed a position at EA as an audio designer and was offered the chance to score my first video game composition, "The Epic Skeptic" for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. Since then my music has also appeared on EA Sports MMA, Madden NFL, the revived NFL Blitz franchise, Planet Pachinko (Wii Ware), and even the iPhone apps DJ Nights Global Tour and Ambiance. Never ceasing in my love for underground electronic music, I was also featured on or produced mixes for Caffeine, Enhanced, Moist Music, Onelove, Static System, Sludge Records, Tunes for You (Black Hole), Tiesto's Club Life, and the Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour.

In 2011 I began producing artist music full-time, focusing on a darker, heavier side of electronic music. Experimenting with elements of dubstep, rock, and classical, this newer sound immediately found it's way to the top of the charts, with my first single "Let Go With You", landing at #2 on the Beatport Dubstep Chart for almost 2 months, just under Skrillex. After this I was approached by FiXT records, and joined their roster of respected artist including Celldweller and Blue Stahli. While with FiXT I released multiple albums and EPs, garnering multiple #1 SoundCloud chart positions as well as landing on a multitude of top-rated network television programs. I'm currently continuing my efforts to create emotive, electronic music as well as push the boundaries of sound with innovative projects like my "Josh Money: Alternative House" house sample pack for Prime Loops.

"Josh Money is one of the most ridiculously talented people I have met in the industry. He has extraordinary musical composition skills especially in the realm of Electronica and has composed tracks on several of our AAA title video games. He has a professional and friendly demeanor and never failed to hit a deadline. I offer my highest recommendations to Josh and wish I had the chance to hire him full time. Snag this guy if you can, he is an absolute top performer." - Jesse James Allen [Studio Audio Director - EA Sports]
